Love was at first sight when Yeguada Herrera began to raise pure Spanish horses in 1995, for the characteristics that the Carthusian horse showed.

Our first stallions were: Jugueton V, Rector V, Estimated IV, and Limosnero II, which were very important in the history of the Spanish horse. Born by prestige livestock of Spain as they are: Yeguada Cardenas, Yeguada Urquijo, and Yeguada Militar. With the 15 Yeguas player descending from these important lines, they have been the base with which up to today has been kept to keep the examples of good morphology, movement, nobility, and elegance.
